Le
chanteur
José Carpio est né au milieu du 18ème siècle,
d'humble naissance, son père était mineur. Le retour à la maison était et fête
et jouissance car on se réjouissait avec les doux chants de José; la voisinnée
y allait lui écouter sans tarder. Une journée de malheur le père de José est
mort dans la mine. Pour gagner sa vie José Carpio allait partout chantant des
tristes chansons avec sa guitarre. Sa maîtrise de la musique était telle qu'il
adouçait jusqu'aux esprits plus forts. Mais un jour sa voix s'est éteinte et il
a commencé à travaillee à la mine pour gagner sa vie. Il y a gagné beaucoup
d'argent car il a trouvé un filon; il est devenu un homme riche et a ouvert des
commerces que lui raportaient d'enormes revenus. À côté de chez lui il a
construit une exploitation pour les déchêts de la mine. ◦ Après la mort de José
sa maison est restée abandonnée et au moment de la guerre d'indépendence tout a
été détruit. Beaucoup d'années se sont écoulées jusqu'au moment où la Mairie de
Guanajuato a construit un parc où étaient les ruines de la maison de José. Là,
des adultes et des enfants se rassamblent dans le souvenir de "El
cantador", nom qui mène le parc à sa mémoire et l'ont dit que, dans ce
lieu, il y a beaucoup d'argent enterré.

guadagnarsi il pane, si dedicó a lavorare in miniera, ottenne molti soldi per
il suo lavoro, diventó un uomo ricco e cominció a fare affari di grande
profitto, costruí vicino a casa sua una hacienda di beneficio, quando morí, la
sua casa rimase abbandonata e nella guerra d'indipendenza tutto venne
distrutto, dopo molti anni il comune di Guanajuato costruí un parco nelle
rovine della sua casa dove si riuniscono grandi e bambini in ricordo del
"cantante", nome del giardino che lo ricorda, si dice che in quel
posto, molti soldi vennero sepolti.
